Talaash: Filming and Details

Amir Khan, the perfectionist of Bollywood is back yet again with another upcoming film. Talaash: The Answer Lies Within is an upcoming Bollywood psychological thriller which has been co-written by Reema Kagti (who is also the director of the film) and her director friend Zoya Akhtar. The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerjee in important roles.

Reema Kagti revealed in an interview that she had approached Aamir Khan with a different project few months before she cast him in this film. Before the commencement of the principal shooting, the actors had to attend acting workshops to understand their roles better. They also signed a non-disclosure agreement with the director.

The primary filming began in March, 2011 with Aamir and Rani, at a location in Mumbai. Another scene involving Aamir and Kareena was supposed to be shot in a red-light area, but after Kagti refused it for the sake of safety, the scene was shot at a caf in Colaba. Other shooting locations are Pondicherry and London.
